Is step 1 and 2 done traditionally or digitally? What exactly do you use to make the worm look slimy?

Hey man.

Sorry for the long reply.

All of it is done in digital.

To make the flesh slimy, I use a soft light brush. I would get a lighter value of the skin and use it sparingly. When you define highlights, don't go too crazy, or else it would be too bright.
